I was given the opportunity to take photos at a Marilyn Manson concert through a good friend of mine. Being an avid music listener and a fan of alternative rock music, I found myself a little hesitant to go. Not because I was afraid, my parents were. I could definitely get into a story time, but I can leave that for a YouTube series.
But I didn't let my parents stop me from attending. No fucking way. That night, I was going to be a little sinner.
Attending the show, I thought I was going to get a lot of action shots, which I did, but they definitely do not reflect the events of what happened there. I can say in the first few shots with Manson, I was testing my camera to fix my settings. I noticed him stare at me as I was testing my shots and I got a little hesitant because I was missing out on some good photos, but, alas, I did get some pretty good shots.
Regardless of the rant and how the show was cut early; it was the band who were the real MVP's for at least attempting to keep the show going, with or without Manson and his rock star ways. What is a rock concert without chaos, anyways?
